Literature review methods: bibliometric analysis

In this lecture, we discussed bibliometric analysis as a method for literature reviews. The lecture was part of the MSc in Economics and Innovation Management from the University of Brasilia to the Brazilian Space Agency and the local community.

The presentation had the following objectives:

• Summarise the basic concepts related to bibliometric analysis.
• Distinguish the main informetric theories.
• Distinguish the types of bibliometric analysis.
• Practice the main types of bibliometric analysis.
